 Welcome. I am a retired interventional cardiologist and high school soccer coach. I practiced and coached in Fargo, N.D.

In anticipation of retirement I taught myself Photoshop and Lightroom and went to several photography courses across the country.

 The Minnesota lake country has been our site for relaxation all our lives and is now Renee's and my home.

 

 I love the water and its infinite variations in color and light. The Reflection series is an effort to capture and enhance the beauty of nature. Water, motion, shadow, time of day, depth, shoreline, all influence the final image. 

 

A photograph is a template on which to build a work of art. Lake Creatures and The Imperial Family arose from discovering, with the assistance of Photoshop, the wonderful world one can create using the combination of flowers, leaves, and water.

 

We are fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful and peaceful places in the world. Minnesota Lake Country tries to capture that serenity and share the wonder of this area.
